Creamy Coconut Pudding

 


Ingredients:

  • 1 can (14 oz) coconut milk or coconut cream

  • 1–2 tablespoons sweetener (sugar, honey, or maple syrup, depending on the dish)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for desserts) or 1 teaspoon ginger/garlic paste (for savory dishes)

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional: shredded coconut or lime zest for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the base: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine coconut milk with sweetener or seasonings. Stir gently to prevent curdling.

  2. Simmer and infuse: Let it simmer for 5–10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. For savory dishes, add spices such as curry powder, turmeric, or chili. For desserts, a touch of vanilla or cinnamon elevates the flavor.

  3. Adjust texture: If you want a thicker consistency, let it simmer longer or add a small cornstarch slurry. For thinner sauces or soups, add a bit of broth, milk, or water.

  4. Serve and garnish: Pour over your dish—be it a curry, smoothie bowl, or pudding—and finish with a sprinkle of shredded coconut, herbs, or zest for a beautiful presentation.
