Here's a simple recipe for coating chicken

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- Salt and pepper to taste

- 2 tablespoons olive oil or cooking spray

1. Place the flour in a shallow dish and season with salt and pepper.

2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture.

3. Dredge each chicken breast in the seasoned flour, shaking off any excess.

4. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

5. Once the oil is hot, add the coated chicken breasts to the skillet.

6. Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

7. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

You can use this coated chicken as a base for various recipes, including slow cooker dishes like chicken cacciatore or creamy chicken and rice.
