Breakfast Sausage Crescent Rolls

 


Ingredients:

- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

- 8 breakfast sausage links

- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

- 1/4 cup maple syrup

- 1 tablespoon melted butter

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Cook the breakfast sausage links according to package instructions until fully cooked.

3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.

4. Place a cooked sausage link on the wide end of each crescent roll triangle. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the sausage.

5. Roll up the crescent roll dough, enclosing the sausage and cheese inside. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet.

6. In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

7. Brush the maple syrup mixture over the tops of the crescent rolls.

8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.

9. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
