Ingredients:
To whip up this heavenly dish, you’ll need the following ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 packet (0.7 ounces) Italian dressing mix
1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup dry white wine (optional)
1 cup sliced mushrooms
Cooked pasta or rice, for serving
Fresh parsley
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix together the melted butter and Italian dressing mix until well combined.
Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your crockpot.
In another bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, softened cream cheese, chicken broth, and white wine (if using). Stir until smooth.
Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
Add the sliced mushrooms on top.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks or leave it whole, depending on your preference.
Serve the angel chicken over cooked pasta or rice, garnished with chopped parsley.
