Pecan Pie Bark

 



What You’ll Need (Makes 12–16 pieces):

  • 2 sticks salted butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups chopped pecans
  • Graham crackers (enough to cover your baking tray)

Instructions:

1️⃣ Preheat and Prep:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a baking tray with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.

2️⃣ Line the Base:
Place graham crackers in a single layer to cover the entire tray. Break crackers to fit if needed.

3️⃣ Make the Pecan Caramel:
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together. Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a gentle boil and the sugar is fully dissolved—about 2–3 minutes.

4️⃣ Add the Flavor:
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and chopped pecans. Mix well to coat the nuts.

5️⃣ Assemble and Bake:
Pour the hot pecan mixture evenly over the graham crackers, spreading it to cover as much as possible.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the top is bubbling and golden.

6️⃣ Cool and Slice:
Let the bark cool completely at room temperature—this helps it set and become nice and crisp.
Once cool, cut into squares or shards with a sharp knife.
