Tiramisu Pudding Cups Recipe

 


Ingredients

1 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup powdered sugar

8 ounces mascarpone cheese, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso, cooled

2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)

12-15 ladyfinger cookies, broken into smaller pieces

Cocoa powder for dusting

Shaved chocolate or chocolate chips for garnish (optional)

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prepare the Cream Mixture

In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.

Gently fold in the mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined. Be careful not to overmix to maintain a light texture.

2. Make the Coffee Dip

In a shallow bowl, combine the cooled coffee or espresso with the coffee liqueur (if using).

Dip the ladyfinger pieces into the coffee mixture briefly, ensuring they don’t become too soggy.

3. Assemble the Pudding Cups

In small serving cups or glasses, layer the soaked ladyfinger pieces at the bottom.

Add a layer of the mascarpone cream mixture on top.

Repeat the layers until the cups are filled, finishing with a layer of cream.

4. Chill and Garnish

Refrigerate the pudding cups for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.

Before serving, dust the tops with cocoa powder and garnish with shaved chocolate or chocolate chips, if desired.
