Ingredients:
1 box (about 17 oz) frozen puff pastry, thawed
1/2 cup pizza sauce (thick consistency)
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 egg (for egg wash)
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Optional toppings: pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, bell peppers
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the thawed puff pastry sheets on a clean surface.
Cut each sheet into equal squares using a sharp knife.
Lightly score a border about 1/2 inch from the edges without cutting through.
Prick the center of each square with a fork to prevent over-puffing.
How to Make:
Spoon a small amount of pizza sauce into the center of each pastry square.
Spread the sauce evenly, staying inside the scored border.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.
Add any optional toppings you like.
Brush the outer edges with beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake for 15–20 minutes until puffed, golden, and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley.
