Homemade Peach Cream Cheese Pound Cake

 


Ingredients
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp almond extract (optional)
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 cups diced peaches (fresh or well-drained canned)
  • 1 tbsp flour (to toss peaches)

How to Make

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a Bundt or tube pan.
  2. Cream butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Mix in vanilla, almond extract, and salt.
  5. Gradually add flour, mixing just until combined.
  6. Toss peaches with 1 tbsp flour and gently fold into batter.
  7. Pour batter into pan and smooth top.
  8. Bake 80–90 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Cool 15 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
