Cream Cheese corn casserole

 


Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, cubed and at room temperature

  • 4 tablespoons butter (salted or unsalted)

  • 1/3 cup milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • 1 (18 oz) bag frozen sweet corn, thawed

  • Diced pickled jalapeños, to taste (optional)

  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

 

Instructions

Step 1 — Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.

Step 2 — Make the Creamy Base

  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the cream cheese and butter together.

  • Stir in milk until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Step 3 — Add Flavor

  • Stir in salt, black pepper, corn, and optional jalapeños until evenly combined.

Step 4 — Assemble

  • Pour the corn mixture into the prepared baking dish.

  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.

Step 5 — Bake

  • Bake for 20 minutes, or until the casserole is golden and bubbly.

Step 6 — Serve

  • Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy as a comforting side or part of a festive meal.
