Ingredients
1–2 tbsp butter (softened)
2–3 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
Optional: shredded chicken, caramelized onions, or tomato slices for extra filling
Instructions
Prepare the Bread
Spread softened butter evenly on one side of each bread slice (the buttered side will face outward).
Assemble the Sandwich
Place one slice butter-side down.
Add cheese (and any extra filling like chicken or tomato).
Top with the second slice, butter-side up.
Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
Cook the Sandwich
Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket.
Cook for 5–7 minutes, flipping halfway if needed, until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.
Serve & Enjoy
Let it cool for a minute before slicing.
Serve with ketchup, soup, or your favorite dip.
